Kameda Seiji
Bass

  

Born in New York on June 3rd, 1964. Since his childhood he learned classical guitar and piano, and started playing bass guitar when he was 14. When he was studying at Waseda University, he kept going in and out of music studios, and he joined in making a demo tape for a friend of his. This demo tape started to circulate at several auditions. By the time he graduated at university, he had became a professional arranger and producer for several artists, including Hirai Ken. His favourite people are The Beatles, historical personality Dazai Osamu and Akatsuka Fujio.

 

Hata Toshiki
Drums

 

Born in Shimane prefecture in October 5th, 1976. Since his childhood he had interest in Kagura (an ancient Shinto music and dancing) and in the traditional Japanese drums. From junior high to senior high school, he was the percussionist in his school's brass band club. In senior high's third year, he first joined a cover band as a drummer. Then, at 18, he moved to Tokyo. In a short time he became the drummer and percussionist of an amateur band. Then, in 1998 he joined the band Scoope. Anyway, the indies debut took place in 2002. Lately, he collaborated as a tour and recordings drummer for artists like Shiina Junpei (Ringo's brother), Natural High and Nakashima Mika. His hobby is going to faraway places.

 

Ukigumo
Guitar (since 2005)

 

Born in Chiba on October 27th, 1978. He started playing piano at 9, and began a guitarist in the university. He also worked with Shiina during the recording of Kalk Samen Kuri no Hana.

 

Izawa Ichiyou
Keyboards (since 2005)

 

Born in Kurashiki on July 4th 1976. He played in some school bands as a keyboard player and vocalist before moving to Tokyo joining university. In 2004 he founded an indie band called Appa.

Hirama Mikio

Guitar (Until 2005)

 
Born in Hokkaido on May 5th, 1976. He was interested in music since he was a child, and soon, after he turned 15, he got involved in bands. In the beginning he intended to pursue a solo career, so he moved to Tokyo. Then he started releasing his solo songs on an independent label. He entered the indies chart CRJ often. At the same time he began partecipating, as a guitarist, to many studio sessions, and later became a professional support memberist. He left the band in July 2005 to focus on his solo activities.

 

H Zeddo M (Hiizumi Masayuki)

Keyboards (Until 2005)

 
Born in Hyougo prefecture on February 12th, 1978. He started playing piano at the age of 4. In 99, he broke through in the Japanese music scene as Hizuumi Masayuki, keyboardist of the instrumental jazz band PE'Z. But in the meantime, he also had several live performances as a keyboardist for other artists. Under the name hzm, he's also a composer and a remixer. He left Tokyo Jihen in July 2005 to focus on his activities with PE'Z.
