#What is the band actually called, Tokyo Jihen or Tokyo Incident?The real name is Tokyo Jihen (actually the exact transliteration would be Toukyou Jihen), but in some Western sites, and sometimes in TJ's official site, they are called Tokyo Incident, which is none other that the translation of the original name.
#What is Hatsuiku Status?
Hatsuiku Status (Growth Status) is a temporary all-girl band led by Ringo in 2000, they had a short tour and released the DVD "Hatsuiku Status - Okiritsu Japon". They were just a "ghost" band though, they were not much more than a caprice of Ringo's, unlike Tokyo Jihen.
#What happened to Ringo's famous mole?
She had it removed surgically at the end of 2003. There has been a lot of talk about this, anyway the main theories are 1.it was because of a health problem or 2.it was to symbolize in yet another way the end of her solo career and the beginning of Tokyo Jihen.
#Where can I buy SR & TJ products?
If you find shops selling Japanese cds in your city (I know there are shops of the kind in Paris, Roma, New York, Singapore and Melbourne, but of course this is not a complete list) you can try there. Otherwise, try the internet. Some good and reliable sites for buying Japanese music are Yesasia and Cd Japan. If you do not mind buying used cds, you could find them on Ebay, but being an auction site, it is a little bit more risky.
