March 16: Ringo Jihen forums We are sorry to announce that the Ringo Jihen forums are now out of control due to the unreasonable and almost dictatorial attitude of one of our admin. In addiition, he banned the whole staff and all the members who tried to complain about his methods. That's why we will stop supporting the forums in order to create a new Ringo Jihen community. We will post the forums link as soon as it will be available. If you know some of the forums members, please let them know about it. Thanks for your understanding.
December 8: new DVD Ringo is going to release a new live DVD featuring the fanclub only concert ADULTS ONLY on February 21st. The new album will be titled Heisei Fuzoku, and it will be released in a limited cross-shaped digipack edition with some stickers. In addition cover and tracklist of the new single have been revelead. You can read tracklist and details about all Ringo's upcoming releases in our discography section.
November 5: new Shiina Ringo album and soundtrack Ringo has composed the soundtrack for the movie Sakuran and performed the theme song Karisome Otome (Death Jazz Version) with SOIL & "PIMP" SESSIONS. The single of this track will be released online on November 11. The PV will be available in a special DVD for people who will pre-order tickets for the movie. A Tower Records version of the DVD will be available since December 12 and will be limited to 5000 copies. Ringo also planned a new solo release! A new single titled Kono Yo no Kagiri will be released on January 17 followed by a new album on February 21. Special guests for the new single will be Shiina Jumpei and violinist Neko Saito.
August 6: more about the new DVD, new PVs Tokyo Jihen have released more informations about the upcoming live DVD Just Can't Help It. It features more than 22 songs (running time 96 mnutes approximately) including the new track Mirrorball and the new cover C'm'on Let's Go. You can see the cover of the DVD in our discography section. Ringo also announced on her personal site that the new PVs for Mirroball and Shoujo robot will be aired on TV since August 14.
July 2: new live DVD The "DOMESTIC!" Just can't help it live DVD will be released on September 6, 2006. More info will be available in the upcoming weeks. In addition, Hata Toshiki won't be attending the upcoming events due to a broken bone, but he has already announced that he will be back as soon as he will be better.
June 6: Kenichi Asai Ringo will be singing in Kenichi Asai's upcoming single
January 2: new PV Tokyo Jihen have a new video for the song Kenka Joutou. You can watch it exclusively on MTV since January 7 and since January 10 on the other japanese music channels. The video is set at Oyaishi, an underground cavern in Tochigi prefecture.

December 16: Adult cover The CD cover for the two edition of the album Otona (Adult) have been published. You can see them in our Discography section.
October 26: new Tokyo Jihen album! The second Tokyo Jihen album, Otona, will be released on January 25 in two different versions: the regular edition (Femme) and a limited one (Homme), with a bonus booklet, a perfume (!!) and a DVD with a video of Himitsu from the Dynamite tour. September 29: new band members, single cover and concerts Finally Tokyo Jihen announced the names of the new band members. They are Ukigumo on guitar and Izawa Ichiyou on keyboards. You can see a new promotional photo at Toshiba-EMI Official Site. The cover of Shuraba has also been published, click here to watch it. The band is going to start a new tour next year, here are the first two dates:

September 9: new Tokyo Jihen single The new Tokyo Jihen single, titled Shuraba, will be released on November 2, 2005! It features two tracks composed by Ringo and a cover song. 01.Shuraba 02.Koi wa Maboroshi (cover of Get It Up For Love by Ned Doheny) 03.Rakujitsu
September 5: Hirama's solo album Former Tokyo Jihen guitarist Hirama Mikio is going to release his first solo album titled Bunmei Koukyou Virus on October 19, 2005.
August 4: news After several problems the site is finally updated! -HZM and Hirama left the band to focus on their own activities. You can read their message to the fans (in Japanese) here. -Ringo ranked #41 in the Popularity Rankings published by Oricon. You can read the whole Top50 here. -"Kyouiku" is the 17th best-selling albums of the last six months according to an Oricon report. -"Dynamite In!", a DVD featuring a 45 minutes documentary with live videos as well, has been released on July 13. You can watch a short sample here. -"Dynamite Out!", a DVD featuring the recording of the Nagoya Century Hall Concert, will be released on August 17.
